When I used this product, the first thing I noticed is that it wasn’t heavy or greasy, yet it was silky with the consistency of a lotion rather than a cream.  The second thing that I noticed was that my eyes didn’t burn, like with most products. I don’t know what it is, but even with organic eye creams, my eyes tend to burn like they’re on fire. Lastly, my makeup went on very nicely over this product. It didn’t ball up and get funky like other eye creams.
