I’ve only recently discovered the Jurlique Brand. After reviewing their company history and objectives, I decided I really wanted to try it for myself.

I thought I would share my experience with the new, Biodynamic Beauty Skincare.

Jurlique’s Biodynamic Beauty collection utilizes a unique blend of organic herbs, flowers and biodynamics to create a powerful concoction that soften’s lines, wrinkles, discoloration, and skin texture. The products are also great fo bringing new life and vitality to the skin.

What’s also great about Jurlique and their commitment to naturals is the absence of Parabens, Mineral Oils, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (detergent), Artificial Color or Fragrances.

I had the opportunity to try all 4 new products and here’s the scoop on each:

Biodynamic Beauty Serum-  The first thing I noticed was how lightweight this serum was. I probably put to much on in the beginning because I felt like I needed more, but soon realized that the serum is meant to be lightweight and well absorbed. It contains Black Elder and Licorice to help fade discoloration and illuminate the skin, and I saw that instantly. It also served as a great primer for my moisturizer and foundation. ($75)

Biodynamic Beauty Eye Cream-  Again, very lightweight. I would recommend for daytime use mostly, as it sits well under makeup. Perfect for that morning pick-me-up, it energizes tired-looking eyes and fades undereye darkness and puffiness. ($45)

Biodynamic Beauty Refining Treatment-  A double threat in the exfoliating world. This works to retexturize and aid in cell renewal. It helps with pores, uneven skin texture, discoloration, and overall vitality. It contains Calendula, Horsechestnut, Apricot Seed and Willow Bark extract. My skin felt smoother after using this and my other skincare products seemed to penetrate better because of it. ($35)

Biodynamic Beauty Night Lotion-  This moisturizer is made to encouage cell renewal while the skin is sleeping. It not only has potent ingredients to increase radiance, it also has Marshmallow (not the kind in s’mores) to deliver hydration and Calendula to calm and soothe the skin. I definately noticed a big difference in my skin’s hydration levels and tone, and it didn’t break me out, which is a bonus for sure! ($55)

One of my favorite fragrance house’s, is little known. I’m referring to Strange Invisible Perfumes. These fragrances are rather hard to find. I buy mine at Barney’s New York in Beverly Hills.  The most unique feature of SIP is the process of making the fragrances. It’s done through an intense botanical extraction process. The result are very fresh and clean fragrances.

The newest addition to the line is called Musc Botanique. This fragrance is described as clean with an underlined animalistic quality. It’s muskiness is a combination of geranium, white amber, angelica and frakincense. It’s completely uni-sex.

SIP fragrances aren’t cheap. Musc Botanique will retail at $135 for a 1.7 oz. eau de parfum and $185 for a .25-oz. perfume version. It will debut in September and be available at Barney’s New York and Strange Invisible Perfumes.
