I got this in a sale, for £10.
I had bought the Faraway lipstick kit from Freedom, as my first purchase from them and I was super disappointed in them.
So as I stared at this, and was unable to find any youtube reviews of it, I kind of worried that it would be awful.
But, at a tenne and clearly a wee "nod" to Urban Decay (who I love but can't afford), I thought I'd give it a chance.
I'm so glad I did. This palette is MASSIVE. The shadows are so so surprisingly pigmented. I was absolutely over the moon at my purchase. Even the mattes, which I always find in most cheaper palletes, to be chalky and not pigmented, even they are wonderful. I have a hard time getting matte shadows to go on my lids, even with primer. Not these ones.
I would gladly pay £15 for this, but I luckily did not have to! The only negative thing I have to say about this, is that the mirror is terrible, it's like a fun mirror, which is useless for it's purpose. The case closes a bit oddly too. However, again, the quality of the eyeshadows themselves and the massive size of this palette, make it all worthwhile.
Hey. I have to say this palette is amazing. very good quality and very pigmented shadows with a really really minimum of fall out.
The only reason I don't give a 5 start it's because of the style of the palette. The lid is awkward and the mirror should be bigger. And a small thing: they should start to name their shadows, would be cute.
such a surprise, but a happy one. I wear over the top stuff, and needed something solid and diverse I could travel with. Also, it's cheap enough that I wouldn't crumble if it broke or was stolen. Mattes in neutrals, smoky and brights; ditto for shimmers! Duochromes and glitters, very diverse! Mirror is awful but for £15, I'm in love with the versatility & quality. Not pro grade, but lasts long enough, again A++ for travelling!
