How to Contour
Define your features; create higher cheekbones, slimmer nose and chin with the contouring technique.
Introducing our new Cream Contour Palette! Learn how to contour with Daisie in this tutorial.
Step One: Base
Start with a ready base, if you normally wear primer or foundation, go ahead and apply these first (no powder products).
Step Two: Brush
Taking your brush, dip into your desired contour shade, remember, it is easier to add more, so start off with a light hand, you can build up intensity if desired.
Step Three: Contour
Using the top of your ear as a guide, find your cheekbone and apply the contour cream just underneath your cheekbones (you can suck in your cheeks to help find your cheekbone). Apply the cream, stopping once the line is parallel to the middle of your eye. You can take the contour shade onto your temples and top of forehead for a narrower looking face, sides of the nose, and jawline.
Step Four: Blend
Blend in until there are no harsh lines.
Step Five: Highlight
Taking your desired highlight shade (no shimmer) take a blending sponge and apply under the eyes, bridge of the nose, cupids bow and centre of the forehead, blending as you apply. You can also apply this underneath your cheekbone contour to add more depth.
Step Six: Finish
Finish with the shimmer highlight shade, with a small brush add to the high points of your face (cheekbones, cupids bow, brow bone, bridge of nose) for extra dimension and glow!)
