This works so well as an alternative to Benefit's High Beam! It's more sparkly and doesn't have the powder problem. The consistency is very runny, so I put a small blob on my hand, use a lipstick brush to draw a line on my cheekbones then blend it with my fingertips.
The product dries very quickly, so I'd recommend doing one area at once rather than applying it to your whole face then blending. Once it's on it sticks all day, though. Even the small blob I put on my hand has stayed all day despite me scrubbing at it with soap.
I'm very pale (0.5 concealer is just about a skin match for me) with a cool skin tone (meaning I have a pink undertone to my skin), so many highlighter just look like I've applied a sparkly blush or contour stick to the wrong part of my face. It's a pale pink base that blends into a shine and sparkle rather than ashy white colour.
I 100% recommend this to anyone with a pale skin tone struggling to find a highlighter, especially if you want an extra sparkle. It also works super well as a body glitter on a night out! It stays super well through sweat, and since it's so runny and cheap a small blob can be spread along my arms easily.
Wooooow these give you the most amazing wet-looking glow!! I don't think I'll have to try another highlighter ever again after discovering these! I have Starlight and Luminous Gold and will be going back for more shades once they're in stock. These are a fourth of the price of other comparable highlighters, and I think these look more blinding and dewy on me than most expensive highlighters! Love it!
Wow. Super amazing! They are so pigmented. I received this along with lustre gold and unicorn elixir from my partner. All are incredible but this is one of my favourites. The application is fabulous! They are all oily but it's just the formula and doesn't affect my skin at all. Love it! Would recommend to any makeup addict, like myself (;
This is a very good product at a very good price. It's highly pigmented, you only need the tiniest amount for a blinding highlight, so it's going to last you for a very long time (I don't think I'll be able to go through the whole bottle, it's a lot of product for how little you need to apply, but this is not a bad thing). The shade 'Liquid Starlight' is perfect for pale skin with cool undertones, it's pretty much white, but it has a pinkish hue, I love the fact that it doesn't leave a weird, kinda ashy stripe when I look straight ahead, something that white highlighters usually do, and ever though the shade is so light and it is so pigmentend and intense, it doesn't look excessive. The only downside is that it is a little bit difficult to work with (but nothing too bad), especially if you haven't used liquid highlighters before, because you have to work with it kinda fast, as it dries really quickly and becomes a bit hard to blend, but if you only do one cheekbone at a time it's going to work very well. Another thing that some people might not like is that it's pretty glittery. I don't really mind this, 'cause the glitters are very fine and don't look bad at all. Overall, a very good liquid highlighter, I think you should get this instead of the high-end versions, it's a gorgeous product and a really good value for a very inexpensive price.
The ONLY difference between this and it's high-end twin is that this is BETTER. It doesn't dry down too fast and leave an unblendable spot on your face if you don't work quickly enough... yet it's still a beautiful beaming pink toned highlighter. I LOVE using this one when using cool-toned looks, or when I'm doing warm berry-colored looks. This also came in very handy recently to add some pink luminosity to a new foundation I picked up on the fly that was more matte than I like, and too yellow-toned for my skin. This stuff is like a little miracle in a bottle. And the fact I was able to buy 4 different colors of this stuff for less than the price of ONE of the high-end twins, is just game-changing. Well done on this MUR. Well done indeed.
