Invited To A Last Min Halloween Party?

Have a quick read for some inspiration!

Decided to go out out with an hour to get ready? These three last minute makeup hacks will have you turning heads at any event and are super easy to achieve!

WEREWOLF SCRATCHES

These super realistic scratches can be created with just 3 products, as Ruby from Team Rev demonstrates below!

• First step, using the Revolution SFX scar wax, mould the wax onto the face, resembling scratch marks, hollowing out the middle to imitate ripped flesh!

• Next, add liquid latex over the top to ensure the wax sticks and brings to shape to life.

• Third Step, apply SFX fake blood jelly to the centre of the scratch, to mimic the look of dried blood. Top Tip! The messier the better, you don’t have to be neat!

• End Result: Super realistic, gory scratches that can be worn as part of a werewolf look, or on top of a cute Halloween slay!

STICH MARK

This look is perfect for those who prefer not to use SFX and like to stick to shadows and liners! Whether you want to add a small stitch or go crazy, Maria shows you how to create the perfect realistic look!

• Step 1: using a red eyeshadow, map out the area you want to look irritated by the stitches, a perfect red shadow is ‘Flesh’ in the IT x Revolution You'll Float Too Eyeshadow Palette

• Step 2: on top of the shadow, draw out your cut and stitches-again the messier the better to get that realistic effect!

• Step 3: Using a white Kohl liner, highlight the edges of the eyeliner scratch, creating the illusion of raised, swollen skin.

• Step 4: Taking the a burgundy eyeshadow, go over the stitch holes to deepen and further mimic the look of irritation to the skin.

Now you can leave the look there- OR – take a red liquid lipstick ( we recommend Makeup Revolution Matte Bomb Liquid Lipstick Lure Red) and dot over the top of the liner and burgundy shadow, to mimic the appearance of fresh blood!

MUSHROOM FAIRY

Looking for something a bit cuter? Look no further! This mushroom fairy is a super pretty and unique alternative to make sure you stand out at the party!

• Step 1: Taking the red shade in the Revolution SFX paint palette create a red smokey shape on the eyes, and blend paint across the cheeks and over the nose.

• Step 2: Take a white liquid liner and simply dot all over the lids, up to the brow and all over the cheeks and nose, add as little or as many as you like!

• Step 3: taking the Makeup Revolution Twisted Fantasy Colour Palette, using the pink shimmer shade, apply to the inner corners of the eyes and the cheekbones, to mimic the perfect ethereal glow!

Finally, finish your look with the juicy Revolution Bitten Kiss lip oil, providing the perfect balance between gore and gloss! Feel free to leave your look there for a cure fairy moment, or to make It more gory, follow the steps in tutorial one and add cuts and blood!

Whether its gore or glam you’re after, these looks are sure to turn heads wherever you go! Be sure to tag us in any look you choose to recreate, we love seeing your creativity!
