Party season is well and truly back! Whether you're attending after-work drinks, festive lunches or heading for a big night out, we have you covered with six essential pre-makeup steps to ensure your look endure.
STEP ONE: CLEANSE
A clean slate. A chance to rid the skin of the nasties (we're looking at you, bacteria and dirt!), and give your skincare products a base to work with. The type of cleanser you use is also important – the last thing you want to do is irritate your skin in the first step, so ensure it's suited to your skin type. If you have sensitive skin or are prone to blemishes, try the Purifying Facial Gel Cleanser with Niacinamide, or if you have dry skin, the Hydro Bank Hydrating Cleansing Gel is your best friend. Revtips on cleansing:
-Wash your hands before you cleanse
-Use lukewarm water to rinse – this will open the pores without dehydrating them (hot water is prone to doing this)
STEP TWO: EXFOLIATE / TONE
Now that you've created a clean base, prevent any cakey makeup by exfoliating the skin. A key part to any routine, exfoliating ensures any dead skin cells are buffed away to reveal your best complexion. Often miss this step out? Don't skip on eye care if you want to create a creaseless, bright under-eye look! This part of your complexion is sensitive so needs a little TLC – opt for a cream from the Boost range, or treat your eyes to some under-eye patches.

STEP FIVE: MOISTURISER

STEP SIX: PRIMER
