You might have seen over the last few months at awards and fashion shows, in editorials, and even on social media, but those dark reds and burgundy shades are making their way back to faces! Most commonly, these colours of red are seen on lips against a minimal beauty look, to make a statement, but why not stand out from the crowd and elevate the uses of red further?

We’ve got two plumping lip oils, one in a lovely red shade, and one clear, a highlight & quad palette to help you get the fieriest looks, a sweet chilli lip mask & lip scrub to give your lips to ultimate exfoliating and hydrating care, and finally THE cutest fiery powder puff!
So, let’s talk about how to utilise this flaming collection to help you get above and beyond the red trend. Alexa, play Red (Taylor’s Version)…
Once you’ve applied your base layer of foundation and concealer (might I interest you in Revolution Beauty’s new & incredible Skin Silk foundation? If you don’t know already, you should get to know because it’s insane! Click here to look). Use the Sweet Chilli Highlight & Quad palette and choose your desired shade of blush. Apply this creamy formula around the cheek area to help bring a natural-looking pop of flush! Next, swipe up the shimmery highlighting shades and apply to your cheekbones to accentuate your cheeks, as well as lighting up your face!
When you’re happy with the results, you can focus on your lips. To start with, let’s take the Lip Scrub and swipe across your lips, this will help remove any dead skin and make sure your lips won’t look flaky. I’d then recommend swiping on the Lip Mask and leaving it for a little while to help hydrate the lips. When you’re ready, take your desired shade of gloss and swipe on – you’ll feel a small tingle, and wait to see your lips get that plumped effect whilst also providing extra hydration!
If you’re wanting to go bolder, I’d use the highlight & quad palette and choose one of the red shades to add onto the eyelids to bring out the eyes, as well as serving an extra hot look!
