Check out the Gorgeous cover and layout I did of Kelly Rutherford!
When I was asked to do the cover and layout of Kelly Rutherford for Coco Eco Magazine, I wanted to give Kelly a sultry look, with smoldery eyes to vamp it up unike we’ve ever seen her before! Thankfully, Kelly breezed into the shoot and let me have at her with no reservations and was a gem to work with!
I used all Jane Iridale products on Kelly.
This one is my fave!
Rocking Vintage Herve Lerger!
I chose not to line the inside of Kelly’s eyes, rather I focused on smoking out the rims of her eyes in a sexy Pewter Brown.
Dancing with the sexy Tosh Yanez!
And this is just one is just damn beautiful!

Shu Uemura Nobara Cream Cover Stick Foundation
This is super exciting for me as a makeup artist and for consumers this is fantastic! Shu Uemura Nobara Cream Foundation now comes in a versatile cover stick with a new formulation. I hate to admit this, but I prefer the stick to the old packaging because it is so much quicker to use and and the formulation is actually better, not that I disliked the old version because I used it on Scarlett Johanssen on a movie for 3 months, but the new stick is a bit creamier and easier to use. Now the new formulation is flawless, with the perfect amount of emollients so it’s perfectly smooth and glides on to the skin effortlessly.
I think a coverage sticks in general are great because I don’t really subscribe to having to have a foundation and a concealor. All you really need is a convenient stick and apply a little more or a little less where you need it.
Here’s a list of must have’s! These are all the products I have in my personal arsenal of beauty and if I didn’t have them I’d be a wreck!
Nude Cleansing Oil
I really just love the way this cleanser makes my skin feel. My skin always feel extra dry living in Southern California, so this does the trick!
Nude Replenishing Night Oil
This is the arsenal in my night time regimen that makes my husband even notice a difference. I feel like i’ve turned the clock around every time I wake up and look at my skin in the mirror!
Korres Watermelon Lightweight Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30
What I really love about this tinted moisturizer, is that it’s super light weight, gives flawless coverage and holds up all day long. I always get so many compliments on my skin because of it. Plus it’s organic so it’s great for my face!
Hourglass Extreme Sheen Lip Gloss- Siren
Love, love, love this! It’s so unique in it’s super rich pigment and lasts forever without feathering like most red lip glosses!
NARS Cream Eyeshadow in Mousson
One of new fave’s for 2010! Apply alone or with a beautiful shadow over it, this is sure to make your eyes sparkle! I especially love how shimmery it looks alone without creasing like most creme shadows do.
NARS Laguna and Orgasm duo
This is a great duo for cheeks. You get the perfect bronzer and cheek color in one convenient compact. As a makeup artist, I find that this combo works well on all skin types.
Jane Iridale Mineral Powder
One of my favorite eco lines! Their powders are so lovely on the skin and beneficial to it as well. If you want a seamless powdery finish, get your hands on this.
Lash Fusion XL
This mascara is flawless! No flaking and stays put all day long. For some reason, this mascara lasts me a very long time as well. Maybe because of the jumbo packaging? But regardless, it makes me feel like I’m getting more bang for my buck.
I seriously never get sick of makeup and believe it or not, I am constantly in awe of the sheer fact that buying makeup still turns me on. For Christmas this year, Sharon, my business partner, gave me Hourglass Extreme Sheen High Shine Lip Gloss in Siren.
Siren has to be the most pigmented red lip gloss I have ever seen and I can’t wait to run to Sephora tomorrow and check out the other colors! I love the super shiny look of it sans the sticky goopy feeling of most glosses. Oh and did I mention how yummy it smells? I really can rave enough about this gloss so you’re gonna have to check it out for yourself and spread the word!
