Eid is celebrated by Muslims across the globe. The celebration marks the end of Ramadan - the Islamic holy month of fasting. We caught up with beauty content creator (and *queen* of ultra-glam eye looks) @nailasworld who is celebrating Eid this year. We invited her to share with you how she creates her signature ultimate glam 'Eid makeup look' using her must-have Revolution products.
"In Ramadan, we don’t get the chance to wear makeup due to constant cleansing and observing prayers throughout the days, but Eid preparation is a lot of fun for someone like me who lives for a full beat!
Skin prep is key after a month of fasting. I like to prep my skin with the Revolution PRO Hydra Bright Primer which is super dewy and hydrating for dry skin and creates a lovely base for your makeup! I then go ahead with the OG Conceal and Define Foundation in F10.2 and concealer in C8.5. I love this range for my skin as it provides medium to full coverage and gives a flawless finish for all skin types! I then go ahead with the Conceal and Define Powder in the shade P13 for contour and P10.2 to set my entire face. For under eyes, I like to go for the Loose Baking Powder in 'Banana' or 'Lace'. Next, I set my brows in place with the Soap Styler and fill in any sparse gaps using the Laminate Brow in the shade Dark Brown.
Complexion and brows complete, I then move onto eyes. I have been loving using the ‘Bewitching’ Moments palette by Revolution Pro which is amazing for the ultimate glam eye look. It gives your eyes a sultry and smokey look that can match with any type of dress you’ll be wearing on Eid because of the neutral smokey shades! I finish the eyes off with the Revolution Butterfly Mascara and Faux Mink lashes in the style Minky (my fave!). Lastly, for my lips, I love the Pout Bomb in the shade ‘Cookie’. Then I set my entire face with the Superfix Misting Setting Spray so that my makeup lasts all through the celebrations!
